Our comprehensive 8-week Audio Engineering Program, designed to equip aspiring sound engineers and audio producers with the skills needed to excel in the music and entertainment industries. Starting on September 7th and running every Saturday through October 26th, our course offers the opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals in a hands-on, interactive environment.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:
Professional Equipment: Get real-world experience using state-of-the-art audio engineering equipment. Our setup includes an industry-standard Avid Pro Tools system, running on a high-performance Apple Mac mini. This professional software is complemented by a Focusrite 18i20 audio interface, known for its superior sound quality and reliability.
Avid S1 EUCON Control Surface: Students will not only learn about audio mixing and editing in Pro Tools but will also receive hands-on training on the Avid S1 EUCON Desktop Control Surface. This tactile control surface integrates seamlessly with Pro Tools, providing an immersive, hands-on experience for mixing tracks like a pro.
PROGRAM SCHEDULE:
Our program kicks off on September 7th with a special three-hour session from 9 am to noon, designed to introduce students to the program while providing a valuable opportunity for a meet and greet/orientation. This longer first day allows participants to familiarize themselves with the equipment, faculty, and fellow students, setting the stage for an engaging and collaborative learning environment.
Following the kickoff, classes will continue every Saturday for two hours (from 10 am to noon), offering a blend of theoretical instruction and practical application. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to build your skills progressively, ensuring you gain a comprehensive understanding of audio production principles and techniques.
COMMITMENT:
Enrollment in our fall program requires a commitment to attend all 8 classes to ensure a consistent learning experience and the opportunity to fully develop your skills. The dedicated time will allow students to delve deeply into the intricacies of audio engineering and emerge with a strong foundation ready for professional application.
